About Us
David Jones has dedicated over 50% of his career to working and living in Japan. He began his career at Toyota Motor Corporation in Toyota City, Aichi, Japan, where for 5-1/2 years he learned and practiced TPS and later relocated to the US. Then he and his family went to Fukuoka, Japan while David worked at Toyota Motor Kyushu. After working at Toyota for 17 years, David transitioned to a Magna International, Tier 1 supplier in Asia & Japan. When his children grew older, they all moved to the US, where he worked as an OEM. Eventually, he started his own business, sharing his ideas to help manufacturers improve quality, productivity, and reduce costs. David and his family split their time between Japan, and the United States.
David is a results-oriented manufacturing leader with a proven track record of developing, implementing, and streamlining safe and cost-effective manufacturing procedures that meet quality standards, exceed customer expectations, and achieve operational excellence.
With a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University, David combines technical expertise with a problem-solving mindset. His achievements include being recognized as an award-winning eBook author in the field.
David's extensive experience makes him a valuable asset in driving ongoing improvements, optimizing operations, reducing costs, and achieving profitability. David is recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in Manufacturing.
